Meet our leadership team

Julie Sue Auslander
President, Chief Cultural Officer
Julie Sue Auslander is the company’s Chief Cultural Officer or Corporate Evangelist and avoids the traditional “President” persona. These terms better reflect her commitment to a process of insight and discovery—a process that shaped her role as a leader of a successful woman-owned business.
Year after year, her leadership earns Couranto national recognition, including a spot on Inc 5000 and “Top 50 Women Owned Business” in New Jersey. She was also named a WBENC National Star in 2012. Auslander was honored with the “2008 Enterprising Woman of the Year” recognition and made the Women’s Enterprise list of 2008 top businesses in the U.S. She earned her MA and MEd from Columbia University and a BS from Pace University in New York.

David Rifkin
Executive Vice President, Chief Client Officer
Innovation and creative problem-solving are the cornerstones of David Rifkin's career. Before Couranto, he was a founder and Senior Vice President of LoJack of New York/New Jersey Corporation, responsible for marketing a stolen vehicle recovery system linked to Federal and State Police crime computers and patrol cars.
Earlier, Rifkin served in developmental marketing and advertising at NYNEX Corporation, where he was involved in the nation’s first launches of cellular service. He was also on the Western Union Corporation team, where he was responsible for promoting the company’s largest and most prestigious telecommunications services. He earned his MBA with Distinction from New York University’s Leonard Stern School of Business, and his B.Sc. from Temple University in Philadelphia.

Ken Redler
Chief Technology Officer
Ken Redler has been conceiving, building, and shipping web software since 1994. He brings a designer’s sensibility to software engineering, and a software engineer’s pragmatism to design. His passion is making products, and teams that make products, informed by art, science, and market fit. At Couranto, Redler heads up technology, product strategy, and research and development. He is a frequent speaker at conferences and events worldwide. Prior, Redler was CEO and co-founder of Comvision, a web software firm in New York City, and built several web-based services and companies.
He is also on the board of directors of FwdCode, a non-profit Hackathon organization that helps bring the passion and creativity of tech to the collegiate market. Ken holds an AB in English from Dartmouth College.
